Thanks Ellen :)

There is one talk show that always makes my day complete, and that is "Ellen". I love watching this show because Ellen Degeneres is so funny and she always cracks me up. I love her games, especially the blindfold musical chairs. I also like the video clips and pictures that they show as most of them are funny and cute. There is a segment on her show wherein they discover their audience talents and yes, they have a talented audience. The show has a DJ who plays music anytime the guests come and at the beginning of the show wherein Ellen usually dances with the audience. I really love the whole concept of the show. I love Ellen Degeneres as she is a funny and bubbly person who loves dancing and animals. I have been watching this talk show since before i left the Philippines and I wish that I could watch this show live as I am now here in the US.

my 1st day on my volunteer job

I volunteered in a hospital which is located near our house and last Friday was my first day on my job. The reason why I volunteered is because I want to be productive and i would rather be an asset in the community than a liability plus doing something for a cause is better than just staying at home and do nothing hehe. I like the staff at the hospital where i am working at. They are friendly and you'll always see smile on their faces. I have a co-volunteer which is more than 60 yrs. old and he is known as "tootsie roll man". He is a volunteer in that hospital for more than 20 years now and he is called tootsie roll man because he always give tootsie roll to all the kids and old people that he sees in the hospital. Ain't he sweet? He also gives tootsie roll to the nurses and other staff of the hospital and he told me that he don't just give tootsie roll to everybody but to only those people that he likes. Guess what??? He gave me tootsie roll! YAY! *doing my happy dance*

My hubby and I rented this movie and i love it! If you are the type of person who loves cars, car racing and action movies then this is the right movie for you. Ok! Ok! I won't be a spoiler lol! but here is a sneak peak of the movie.

Mmmmmmmmm my pinay friend and i went to this Chinese Buffet Restaurant and we ate til we can't get up from our seats lol! This is the second Chinese Buffet Restaurant that i have eaten. My hubby and I usually just go to this nearest restaurant that is close to our house but this restaurant where my friend and i just ate can't be compared to that resto as mmmmmmmmmm i love their food specially the rice pudding and the seafood salad. Here was my first plate.



From the left in a clockwise direction is my all time fave General Chicken Tzo's, Chicken BBQ, Beef with broccoli, mushroom with sauce and fried rice. In the picture below is Crab meat, dumplings, stuffed mushroom, shrimp, seafood salad and rice pudding. I never thought that i will love the rice pudding til i tried it today. I don't know on how to describe what it taste like but it's like soft "biko" with milk hehe. I would really wanna go back to that resto sooner as i am craving for their foods again while i am writing this lol!

feb 8th is the new valentines day!!

Yep, that is my hubby and i's valentine's day this year and yes, we know that that is too early for Vday lol! We decided to celebrate it early caz my hubby is not off on Vday. We went to the mall to shop for shoes, we ate, we stroll around and we then end up going to a bar and had some drinks. I don't really drink as i always get red spots after some few mins i drank but i drink last night to celebrate Vday hehe! My hubby asked me on what drinks do i want so i told him i want some drinks that is fruity (as i don't want to taste the alcohol hehe) so he told that to the bartender and then the bartender started mixing drinks with juices then i was shocked right after he told me "here comes your sex on the beach" haha! here is a pic of that drink for those who aren't familiar with that drink like i was.



i laughed after i heard it lol then i sipped a lil and OH MY! it taste good! and so i end up drinking it all,.,., now I LOVE SEX ON THE BEACH! lmao!

our dog vs. printer

We have a black labrador which is 10month old as of now. Her name is "aso" which means dog in tagalog (the language in the Philippines). She is so cute and adorable and mostly playful. One time i was printing some important papers and the printer's noise got her attention and made her mad lol! so i immediately grab my camera and took a video of her fighting with the printer lol! she is sooooo funny!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY YOUNGEST SISTER DELFA!!!

i can't believe that she is 20 years old now and all grown up. i remember that i took care of her when i was 7 years old. I changed her lampin and gave her formula milk.I made her laugh with peek-a-boo and taught her the ABC. WOW! she is grown up now.
