Box full of goodies

I am thinking of sending a Balikbayan box (box full of goodies) to my family in the Philippines next month. So, every week or every time I have the extra money, I go to the mall and store to buy somethings that I can put in the box. I already bought shoes for everyone, for my mom and dad, my sisters, my nephew and for our housekeeper. I know all their shoe sizes and their like so I never had a hard time looking for shoes for them.

Last night, I web chat with them and showed them all shoes I bought and they were all so happy and excited to have them. I also asked them on what else do they want me to buy for them. My sisters want tanks and camis because the weather in the Philippines is too hot. I told them that I already knew the perfect store where I could get them. My mom wahts an outfit that will match the shoes I got for her while my dad wants new socks and denim shorts. Aside from those, I am also thinking of sending them chocolates, perfumes and purses, but, I will not going to tell it to them as I want to surprise them :)

Oh! I wish I could see their reactions as soon as they opened the Balikbayan box that I will be sending.

I love Victoria's Secret!

Today, I treat myself because I worked hard these past few days. Hubby and I went to Victoria's Secret to buy some lingerie :D I love VS and I always feel sexy whenever I am wearing VS :D I know I am pregnant, but being pregnant doesn't mean you have to look and feel fat at all! So yeah! Thank you VS for making me feel sexy eventhough I am pregnant :D

I shopped til I got sick!

Yesterday was fun and tiring as well. Afternoon, my dad-in-law and Iwent to the post office to mail some invitation cards and Christmas Cards. After that we went to Kmart and shopped for some gifts. Marsh's was our next destination after Kmart. We shopped some baby foods and milk there. Next, we went to Harvest Grocery to shop for more baby stuff.

We got home around 4Pm already with hungry bellies so we ate first before we proceed in continuing shopping lol! Around 4:30PM. We went to ALCO to shop for a Christmas tree. The Christmas tree is not for us, it is for my sis-in-law. Her sons wants a tree in their house so my dad-in-law decided to buy them one. We didn't find the tree that we like so we went to another town to shop. At last, we found the tree that we liked and we found it at Big Lots! We also shopped for tree top, garlands and ornaments for the tree. I thought the shopping was over, but no! We went to Lowe's looking for a device. Well, we didn't find what we are looking for and since it was already late night, we decided to just go home.

We came home around 8PM. I was hungry again and tired. I ate, cleaned the dishes and made my son's bottled milk. While I was resting, hubby asked me "Do you want to shop?" I replied "Are you kidding me? I am already tired because what I did the whole day was to shop". Then I laughed. He said "But I want to shop for Christmas presents for the kids". he was talking about our nieces and nephews. My husband is like a vampire lol! He likes to sleep daytime and wakes up night time during his day offs. I told him "It is already 10:30PM. Why did you just decided to shop now?" We just both laughed at each other and I agreed to shop with him at Walmart even though I was tired.

After shopping at Walmart, we went to Meijer to shop for more. It was really a tiring day yesterday. I liked it though. Now, I am typing this post with kleenex sitting next to me because I have runny nose, cold and sore throat from shopping in 30F.

12 o'clock Midnight Sale

Hubby and wasn't able to shop last Black Friday because he had to go to work and since I was so eager to go shopping (just to experience Black Friday and to shop with the crowd), I was able to convince my hubby to shopping at Walmart's 12MN Sale. We arrived at the store around 10:30PM and there was not much people but then the clock stuck 11:00, the people came in they were unstoppable to shop LOL! And of course I was one of them :p

I know that it is not exactly good to shop with the crowd but aside from the big discount that you'll get in shopping on Midnight Sale, I think its the rush that I was looking for lol! I know, I'm weird :p But we had fun on shopping that night and I want to do it again next year hehe.

Change of status on my SSN

We stopped by at the SSA office today before we head to the candy warehouse to buy candies for Halloween. There were only few people that were there in the SSA office. I took a number, sat down and waited on my number to called. When my number was called, I went to the one of the tables there and there was the same lady who I spoke with the last time I went there when I applied on my SSN. She was a nice lady. She has this smile on her face every time she ask me a question. She made me swore to tell the truth on every question that she will ask. She asked for my SSN card and my Green Card then asked me three questions: My address, my phone number and my mom's maiden name.

After that my dad-in-law came to me carrying my son Zac. The lady asked me "Are they with you?" I said "Yes, he is my dad-in-law and here is my son". "You have a cute little one" she said. I replied "Thank you." After that, she gave me a piece of paper that says that I should get my updated SSN within a week or two and she handed me the documents she asked awhile ago. I went out of the office with the feeling of excitement of getting my SSN soon hehe.

We went to the candy warehouse afterward and bought bags of candies that we will give away for the trick-or-treaters. We got hungry after shopping for candies so we stopped by to one of our favorite restaurant to eat roast beef sandwich. We didn't get contented in shopping so we went to four different stores to shop for random stuff hehe. Yeah! we love to shop :p

Lucky Sunday!

It was lucky Sunday for us last Sunday. I went in our room because I want to tell hubby that I want to buy two new pairs of pants because I feel like I want to have some new pants. When I entered our room, hubby said "I won $500 on scratch of ticket". I said "Really? Wow! I came here to tell you I want some new pants lol! Yay! I guess we can buy some today :D". So after an hour or so, we went to Kohl's (one of my favorite store) to buy some clothing. Then went to Shoe Carnival for hubby's shoes and mine and then went to Old Navy and bought some flip flops and then went to Walmart to buy some more stuff. We got hungry after everything we did so we ate and went home.

BTW, I saw my boss at the hospital were I worked that day. I was inside the fitting room carrying pants that I wanna a try on when I heard someone calling my name. I kinda ignored it at first because I never thought that I'll find someone who knows me there lol! I was about to close the door of the fitting room when I saw my boss. I was happy to see her and her grandboy. Her grandboy was adorable.

We were indeed lucky today and we thank God for the blessing we had. My highlight of the day? I bought a pair of Lauren Conrad distressed pants woohooo!! lol! Thank you Lord :)

Flea Market

My dad-in-law loves shopping even in flea market. Well, I can't blame him because sometimes you can find something there that you can't find in the mall. My dad likes buying antiques and unique things. He bought this thing that you'll usually find in restaurants and put in our front porch. Notice on what he wrote on the board LOL!
